This 1873 in .38-40 is a fantastic survivor. Hard to find round barrel variety.
90% plus bright blue on the receiver. 80++% blue on full round barrel.
Magazine tube retains much blue with much turning to plum brown.
Fantastic bright bore with strong rifling.
Screws crisp and clean. Strong case colors on hammer…traces left on the lever.
The wood is clean with a high percentage of original finish. No cracks or chips. Usual handling marks with one 2 inch “scar” behind right grip area.
A definate collector grade ’73 which remains unmolested.
